Why is my bearing wrong? How does recording bearing work?

One common misconception with capturing bearing on mobile devices is that it records the direction you’re facing, what it’s actually doing is capturing the direction you are moving in. If you have trouble with accuracy when capturing bearing using Locale Central, try to move towards the direction you want to capture the bearing for, otherwise you can enter the bearing manually on mobile devices.
